These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Thread memory layer service ("Service") provided by ThreadMemory.ai ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Thread is an AI memory layer that captures, indexes, and retrieves conversational context from human-to-AI interactions. The Service is designed for business operators who want persistent memory across AI sessions. Thread does not provide AI model services directly - it integrates with third-party AI platforms you already use.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your business.
You own your data. The conversational content and business information you route through Thread belongs to you. We do not sell, license, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
We store your data using third-party infrastructure providers (including Pinecone for vector storage) subject to their respective privacy and security practices. We process your data only as necessary to provide the Service.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@threadmemory.ai. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Thread is a subscription service billed monthly. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThreadMemory.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting support@threadmemory.ai.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination before deletion, during which you may request an export.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in your account portal. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
